Mahr Calculator

Mahr (the bridal gift) is a mandatory gift from the man to the woman at nikah. The Prophet ﷺ said the best mahr is the simplest and most blessed.

There is no minimum or maximum limit in Islam, but it is recommended to keep it reasonable. A hadith in Sunan an-Nasa'i recounts that the Prophet ﷺ approved a mahr consisting of an iron ring.
