What Zawji is
Zawji is a halal marriage platform for practising Muslims, built on Quran and Sunnah. Members create honest, admin-reviewed profiles, express interest in someone who fits, and open a safe, wali-friendly conversation — with nikah as the goal, not dating. The core is deen, character and intention, not photos and fast swiping.
What makes it different
- 🌙 Deen-first — a marriage platform, not a dating app
- 🤝 Wali-friendly by design
- 💛 Women never pay — no pressure, no false scarcity
- 🛡️ Trust-first: admin-reviewed profiles, honest numbers
The founder
Zawji was built by Fuaad Nuur, a solo founder, out of a personal frustration with how hard it is for practising Muslims to marry in a halal, respectful way. It began as SweNikah and was rebuilt into Zawji. Fuaad is available for interviews.
