What Zawji is
Zawji is a halal marriage platform for practising Muslims, built on Quran and Sunnah. Members create honest profiles (each goes through an automatic safety scan; flagged photos and reports are reviewed by a person), express interest in someone who fits, and open a safe, wali-friendly conversation — with nikah as the goal, not dating. The core is deen, character and intention, not photos and fast swiping.

The team
Zawji was built by Zawji Team out of frustration with how hard it is for practising Muslims to marry in a halal, respectful way. It began as SweNikah and was rebuilt into Zawji. The team is available for interviews: hej@zawji.se.

- ▪Free to find each other: registration, browsing and replying cost nothing. Sending interest is free: brothers without Premium can send up to 15 per month; sisters and Premium members send unlimited. Opening the chat needs Premium, the same for sisters and brothers — either person can open it, for both.
- ▪The platform is wali-friendly: the guardian is welcomed and encouraged through the marriage process, though wali permission is not required to send the first messages.
- ▪Every profile goes through an automatic safety scan; flagged photos and reports are reviewed by a person. Off-platform contact solicitation is automatically blocked.
