De villkor som gäller mellan dig och Zawji. Skrivet kort och tydligt, utan jurist-prat.
1. Om tjänsten
Zawji är en halal-matchmaking plattform för muslimer i Sverige och Skandinavien. Gratis att gå med, bläddra, visa intresse och svara. Chatten öppnas med Premium — samma pris för systrar och bröder, och den av er som köper öppnar den för båda.
2. Behörighet
Du måste vara minst 18 år för att använda tjänsten. Du måste vara muslim och söka äktenskap på ett halal sätt. Genom att registrera dig bekräftar du att du uppfyller dessa krav.
3. Uppförandekod
Som medlem förbinder du dig att:
- Uppge sanningsenlig och korrekt information i din profil
- Behandla alla medlemmar med respekt och adab
- Följa islamiska principer i all kommunikation
- Hålla alla meddelanden respektfulla — ett automatiskt filter blockerar kontaktinfo och olämpligt innehåll, och du kan anmäla problem (admin läser inte chattar)
- Inte dela andra medlemmars information med utomstående
- Inte använda tjänsten för olämpliga eller haram-ändamål
4. Meddelanden och moderering
Auto-filter blockerar privata telefonnummer och bilder direkt i chatten, och du kan anmäla problem. Admin läser inte era konversationer. Chatten öppnas med Premium — månad, år eller livstid — samma priser för systrar och bröder, och den som köper öppnar för båda. Den som bjuder in tre vänner som aktiverar sin profil får en extra gratischatt (högst tre), som är öppen i sju dagar räknat från att ni båda har skrivit. Gratischattar som redan var öppna följer samma regel om sju dagar. När tiden är slut kan ni läsa det ni har skrivit, och chatten fortsätter när någon av er köper Premium. När en syster är redo att gå vidare mot en sittning kan hon dela sin walis kontaktuppgifter — brodern kontaktar då wali själv. Wali-involvering är välkommen, men inget krav för att chatta.
5. Matchningsbegränsningar
Systrar skickar intresseanmälningar utan månadsgräns. Bröder utan Premium kan skicka 5 intresseanmälningar per kalendermånad; med Premium finns ingen gräns. Syftet med skillnaden: Systrar är färre än bröder på Zawji. Obegränsade intressen för systrar ger bröderna fler svar. Chatten kostar lika för systrar och bröder. En vän som aktiverar sin profil och skriver Om mig låser upp obegränsade intressen. Tre vänner ger en extra gratischatt. Premium går bara att köpa. Utöver det kräver chatten Premium (månad, år eller livstid). Att svara på en intresseanmälan är alltid gratis. Zawji förbehåller sig rätten att begränsa aktivitet som missbrukar tjänsten.
6. Ditt konto är personligt
Ditt konto — inklusive ett eventuellt Premium — är kopplat till dig och får inte säljas, köpas, hyras ut eller överlåtas till någon annan. Det gäller oavsett var det sker, inklusive sociala medier. Vi upptäcker det automatiskt (bland annat genom att identifiera om profilbilden plötsligt tillhör en annan person) och stänger av kontot utan återbetalning om det inträffar.
7. Profil och godkännande
Profiler aktiveras efter en automatisk kontroll. Oklara fall kan granskas. Vi förbehåller oss rätten att avvisa, pausa eller ta bort profiler som bryter mot dessa villkor eller islamiska principer.
8. Ansvarsbegränsning
Zawji är en matchmaking-tjänst som underlättar introduktioner. Vi garanterar inte utfallet av några matchningar. Vi ansvarar inte för felaktig information som uppges av medlemmar. Vi ansvarar inte för handlingar som sker utanför plattformen.
9. Marriage, local law, and your responsibility
Zawji is an introduction service with members all over the world. We do not officiate, register, or certify the legal validity of any marriage — we introduce people to one another. The marriage itself takes place between you and your wali or imam, outside the platform.
Marriage laws differ from country to country. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any marriage you enter into is lawful in the country where you live. In some countries polygamy is permitted, for example; in others — including Sweden — it is a criminal offence to enter into a legal marriage while already legally married (bigamy, Chapter 7, Section 1 of the Swedish Criminal Code). By using Zawji you confirm that you know and comply with the marriage laws of your country of residence.
Zawji takes no position for or against any lawful form of marriage, and never facilitates, encourages, or takes part in a marriage that is illegal where you live. Anything members choose to do outside the platform is entirely their own responsibility, and Zawji accepts no liability for it.
10. Uppsägning
Du kan när som helst begära att ditt konto stängs och dina uppgifter raderas. Vi förbehåller oss rätten att stänga konton som bryter mot dessa villkor.
11. Ändringar
Vi kan uppdatera dessa villkor. Väsentliga ändringar meddelas via e-post. Fortsatt användning av tjänsten efter ändringar innebär att du accepterar de uppdaterade villkoren.
12. Tillämplig lag
Dessa villkor regleras av svensk lag. Tvister avgörs av svensk domstol.
13. Premium — monthly, a year or lifetime
Premium is sold as monthly, a year or lifetime. Monthly is 499 kr (SEK) and renews until you cancel. If we change the price, only new purchases pay the new price — a running subscription renews at the price you signed up at. You can cancel at any time under Settings → Subscription (Stripe's customer portal); the cancellation takes effect at the next renewal and you keep Premium for the period you have paid for. We email you a reminder a few days before every renewal, and you can pause for up to three months at no cost instead of cancelling — nothing is charged while it is paused. If you were charged before you had time to cancel, email us within 14 days of that charge and we will refund it. A year (1 499 kr) and lifetime (4 999 kr) are one-time purchases and never renew. The old single-chat unlock (229 kr) and 90-day pass (699 kr) are no longer sold; purchases already made stay valid.
The one-time purchases — 1 499 kr for a year or 4 999 kr for lifetime (all incl. VAT) — are charged once and never renew automatically. If you bought an earlier single-chat unlock at 229 kr or 299 kr it remains valid, your credit still counts towards a pass, and the transfer right is honoured. Premium activates immediately after purchase.
Transfer of a single-chat unlock. If you unlocked a single chat and get no reply within 14 days — or the other person leaves Zawji or ends the match — you can move that unlock to another accepted chat, free of charge, from the conversation. This applies to every unlock, whichever price you paid.
Right of withdrawal — 14 days on every purchase. Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59) you as a consumer have 14 days to change your mind on a distance purchase. That applies to monthly, a year and lifetime. At checkout you ask for Premium to start right away. If you change your mind within 14 days of buying, you therefore get back what you paid minus the days you have used (Chapter 2, Section 14). A day is counted like this: monthly = the price / 30, a year = the price / 365, and lifetime = the same daily price as a year (the year price / 365,4.11 kr a day). Example: withdraw from lifetime after 5 days and we deduct 5 × 4.11 = 20.53 kr, so you get back 4,999 − 20.53 = 4,978.47 kr. Email hej@zawji.se within 14 days of the purchase and we refund within 14 days; Premium closes when the refund is made. For monthly, also: if you were charged for a renewal before you had time to cancel, email us within 14 days of that charge and we refund it in full.
Existing monthly subscribers from an earlier pricing model keep their price and their terms, and manage or cancel via Settings → Subscription.
What Premium includes: the chat opens in your accepted matches (for both of you), read receipts, and higher placement in browse.
Tax and receipt. Stripe emails a receipt after every payment. Prices are shown incl. VAT; Zawji reports the VAT separately to the Swedish Tax Agency.
